【Job Offer】Customer Service Consultant (Japanese Speaker) – Sutherland Global Services

We are looking for Japanese Speakers for a Customer Service position based at our office in Bangsar South, KL. Below is the Job Descriptions for your reference. We are looking for about 50 people to hire for this role and if you are interested, you must be available to start work in mid February 2014. The consultants (you) would be following Japan Working Hours ie; the first shift starts at 7.00am – 4.00pm (Local Malaysia time). The support are for an Airlines and Hospitality related clients. The calls are in Japanese and English Language. Training is provided prior to answering the customers phone enquiries and also may include some email support and live chats. Training is in English. This is a permanent job. We are open to hire fresh graduates and Japanese expats currently living in KL.


Customer Service Consultant (Japanese Speaker)

Job Description:

  • As a Customer Service Consultant you will be primarily responsible for providing highly effective, efficient and professional support by answer all enquiries, researching solutions utilizing ticketing software, Microsoft Outlook, and various internal and external knowledge-based systems.
  • Primary functions of the Customer Service Consultant role consist of:
  • Participating on an inbound priority-based queue to answer telephone based inquiries, email, live chat and some outbound calling (including call backs / follow up calls).
  • Providing world class customer support.


  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Able to work in a call center environment – no requirement to work night shifts
  • Language required – Japanese (read and write) and English (read and write)
  • Required skill(s): Proficient in PC use, good knowledge of MS office
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
